The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) conducted a raid in comedian Bharti Singh's house on Saturday afternoon. The raid took place in the ongoing drugs investigation.

Bharti was spotted leaving her house to reach the NCB office where she will be interrogated in the case. Her husband Haarsh Limbichiyaa was also taken for interrogation by the NCB.

Haarsh was taken in a white van, while Bharti left in a red Mercedes car. Reportedly a small quantity of cannibis was recovered from their house.

Bharti's name came up while interrogating one of the drug peddles the NCB had been interrogating since a long time.

Recently, producer Firoz Nadiadwala's wife was arrested by the agency. 

"Shabana Saeed was issued notice under section 67 of NDPS Act and after recording her statement, she was placed under arrest on November 8", the NCB had confirmed.

“Film producer Firoz Nadiadwala’s wife has been arrested today,” Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director of the NCB, had also confirmed the news to ANI.

A team of NCB officials had arrested Shabana Saeed and searched her house in presence of two independent witnesses. 10 gm of Ganja which was procured from accused Wahid Abdul kadir Sheikh during the house search.

The NCB had clarified, "A total of 727.1 gm of Ganja, 74.1 gm charas & 95.1 gm MD  (Commercial Quantity) has been seized till now along with INR 3,58,610/- and total 05 persons including Shabana Saeed have been arrested."

Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbichiyaa will appear on 'India's Best Dancer' grand finale which would take place over the weekend. The duo were hosting the show.
