'Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!' actress Nehha Pendse aka Anita Bhabhi raises temperatures in a monokini

Nehha Pendse, popular for portraying Anita Vibhuti Narayan Mishra aka Anita Bhabhi in the highly acclaimed sitcom 'Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!', took to Instagram on Thursday, 6 January and posted a sultry, sexy picture. 

Nehha is seen wearing a blue monokini in the picture as she clicks her selfie from her phone. She captioned the picture as, "Can’t wait to meet u again !!"

Nehha had replaced Saumya Tandon in the show who earlier portrayed the character of Anita Bhabhi. Saumya quit the show in August 2020 and Nehha Pendse joined the show in January 2021. 

While speaking to News18 in December 2021, she had shared how she has been accepted by the audience. She said in the interview, "It started with obviously, a lack of acceptance, which was very much expected. Few people accepted me right away, while there was a chunk that did not. But television is a matter of habit. If you are used to seeing an artist playing a particular character for good five years, it’s difficult to replace that mindset immediately. But now that I’ve been consistently in the show for almost 10 months, there is a shift. Definitely, there is an acceptance, and that’s how television operates."

Before coming on 'Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!', Nehha has acted in multiple television shows and as well as Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada films. When she was asked in the same interview with the media portal about the bias towards television actors entering the film industry, she said, "Yes, there is a bias and at times I feel it is valid because most of the television actors are very unaware of acting methods, and the reason why they are into television is very different. And when it comes to films, filmmakers who are great in their craft look for artists who are great in their field as well. However, there are a handful of television actors who are good at their craft and get picked up for films."
