Zee5's new show 'Jeet Ki Zid' was released today on the streaming platform. Directed by ace ad film director Vishal Mangalorkar and produced by Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta, and Akash Chawla, the Zee5 show is a testimony to the real-life story of Kargil war hero Major Deependra Singh Sengar who fought against all odds in different walks of life, be it the Kargil war or his personal life.

Amit Sadh who is essaying the role of protagonist Major Deep Singh in the series recently shared his experience working with his costars and said, "It was really great. Amrita (Puri) is really full of life and a great person to have around. We had really intense and emotional scenes on screen but, in real life, it was fun hanging out with her."

Amit also opened up about working with Sushant Singh and said, "Sushant sir has been a great friend and a very supportive person. Being around him always felt like home and he has been one of the most humble people I’ve met. I really hope I get to work with them again."

For the uninformed, 'Jeet Ki Zid' is a series that captures all of Major Deep Singh’s highlights and turning points in his life. The life of a soldier is depicted in the series with high octane action sequences and various army missions, the level of which has not been witnessed before.

As for the cast, Amit Sadh plays the protagonist while Amrita Puri plays his wife. The series directed by Vishal Mangalorkar also features Sushant Singh, Aly Goni, Mrinal Kulkarni, and Gagan Randhawa.

In another interview, Amit Sadh had said that sitting in a wheelchair for his role in the upcoming web series made him realise the struggle of people who live with such a reality in life.

He had said, "Sitting on a wheelchair is no less of a challenge. Being restricted to a chair and having no sense of walking free, is something I could've never imagined. You almost become either invisible or way too visible to the sympathetic eyes."
