Not very long ago, Aamir Khan was seen in a photo with Shah Rukh Khan at a Netflix event, which made fans wonder the actor would be making his web series debut at the platform. It is, however, unlikely that Aamir would collaborate with Netflix for his web show. The actor is finally ready for his web series debut (which is not 'Mahabharat') and it is not with Netflix.

A report on Mid-Day goes on to state that Aamir Khan would not take the path already taken by Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar. Mr. Perfectionist would rather make his debut with India's much-used platform Amazon Prime, with the help of his writers.

According to the report, Aamir wants a multi-series magnum opus for the platform, which is conceptualized and developed by his team of writers. "It was recently pitched to the heads of the streaming giant, who have been keen to collaborate with the superstar and looking for a project that is worthy of him. The show is a human interest drama," a source told the daily.

Confirming that the project is not Aamir Khan's dream project 'Mahabharat' and that would indeed take place at a later stage, the source confirmed, "For now, there are three well-rounded ideas that are being worked upon." Either way, Aamir is currently busy with his Christmas release 'Laal Singh Chadha', which is the Hindi adaptation of 'Forrest Gump'. The actor, like a ritual every year, might announce his next project on his birthday which takes place on March 14. So it might only be less than a month's wait till the actor clarifies about his upcoming projects.
