Post Hardik Pandya controversy over ‘Koffee With Karan’ episode 6, Twitteratis dug further and found a video of the current superstar Ranveer Singh, where he made a sexist comment on his then co-star and rumoured girlfriend Anushka Sharma. The comment was not only sexist but even gross to begin with, but it began on a very random note.
When Karan Johar asked Ranveer if he’s enjoying all the fan attention, the latter said he loves that there’s clothes-tearing and ass-pinching from girls. The conversation continued and Anushka suddenly questioned at random, "Why don’t men express as much as girls do?", adding, "except the ass-pinching part". She was later embarrassed by what she said, but it too late. She opened up on National Television. Later on, when she asked Karan and Ranveer to say something nice, Karan complimented her legs but Ranveer went on to pass the comment, ‘You want your ass pinched?’
This left Anushka stunned for a moment. Karan was laughing at how Ranveer just pulled her leg (even though he crossed the limit there). Anushka then whacked Ranveer and asked him to not talk to her like that. But many more lines were crossed on the show, by all the three celebrities – the host Karan and his guests Ranveer and Anushka, who were fresh out of their Band Baaja Baarat success. Honestly speaking, that isn’t something a girl would like to hear. Though Anushka took it sportingly then (maybe Karan had a crush on her ever since and she let it go), it was definitely harassment on National Television if it had to be bought to notice. The banter began when Anushka was talking about something Karan didn’t know. He commented, “I want to see your side, I’ve seen your front, but I want to see that side of you.”
2. Ranveer became a boy from child after seeing Kareena swim

Ranveer says that Kareena means the world to him, but before saying that, he recollected the time when she brought out his manlihood. He said, “She (Kareena) used to come for a swim every day, and I was there. Let’s just say I went from child to boy while watching Kareena swim.” Some have defended this statement saying both Kareena and her husband Saif Ali Khan know about it and are okay with it, but should they really be okay about it? Especially after it had been told in front of the world!

3. Anushka asks why guy fans don’t express as much as girl fans

In what she might have meant to make a general conversation, Anushka ended up blabbering why don’t boys express (in forms of clothes-tearing) as much as girl fans do. Realizing that she did not speak like what is usually expected out of a sanskari girl, an embarrassed Anushka asked Karan and Ranveer to change the topic and say something nice, which later resulted in:

4. Anushka narrating the most cheesy (gross) pick-up line she heard

“How do you like your eggs – poached, scrambled or fertilized?” is the pick-up line she heard which she narrated in the episode. Seeing the Anushka of today, it makes us wonder why did she never take any action on the man who actually said those kind of pick-up lines?
5. Ranveer judging Anushka’s moves on Dance Pe Chance

Ranveer recalled that when Anushka grooved on Dance Pe Chance from Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, he and his friend judged her saying, “Yoga karti hogi” and “Power yoga” respectively. Who gave them the rights to judge her body anyway?
