In the year 2007, one of the most loved television shows came into existence. Yes, we are talking about Dill Mill Gayye which was a sequel to another hit show Sanjivani - A Medical Boon. In DMG, as it was fondly called, Karan Singh Grover and Shilpa Anand played the lead roles as Dr Armaan Malik and Dr Riddhima Gupta, they were loved by youngsters a lot. From their onscreen chemistry to the popular romantic songs, everything was pitch perfect.
However, she left the show very next year, only to make a comeback in 2010 as Dr Shilpa Malhotra and not Riddhima. It was not well-received by the fans and she made an early exit too.
Apart from gaining popularity from Dill Mill Gayye, Shilpa has been a part of movies namely Iqraar by Chance, Deewane Ho Gaye, Alert 24x7, Bloody Isshq and Yeh Hai Lollipop.
But it was only DMG which gave her immense love and popularity throughout. Earlier there were reports that she even changed her name from Shilpa Anand to Ohanna Shivanand.

Back in 2007, Shilpa Anand was paired opposite Karan Singh Grover in the hit romantic show Dill Mill Gayye. Their Jodi became an instant hit and was one of the most loved onscreen couples of Indian television during those times.
However, after a year's stint, Shilpa quit the show much to the disappointment of the fans. But even after a decade, her onscreen romance with KSG is still considered as a favourite.

Two years after she left the show, Shilpa came back on Dill Mill Gayye as Dr Shilpa Malhotra. However, fans couldn't see her as any other character than Riddhima thus she made an early exit from the show once again.
