PICS| From Erica Fernandes, Hina Khan to Barun Sobti - Who plays who in Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2

'Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi' fame Erica Fernandes will be stepping into Shweta Tiwari's shoes for the Kasautii Zindagi Kay reboot version. 

'Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan' actor Parth Samthaan will be essaying the role of Anurag Basu, which was originally played by Cezanne Khan and later Hiten Tejwani. 

Finally speaking of the most-anticipated character of Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 - Hina Khan of 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' fame will be seen reprising Urvashi Dholakia's iconic role - Komollliikkkkaaaaaaaaa. As per latest reports, the actress will be seen sporting both western and ethnic looks in the show. And, unlike the original character, her trademark accessory would not be bindis but earrings. 

Initial reports suggested that Sumona Chakravarti, best known for her role of Kapil Sharma's wife Manju, has bagged the part of Anurag's (Parth) sister Nivedita Basu. But, latest reports say that the role has now gone to Pooja Banerjee. However, there's no confirmation on either, so far.

'Student Of the Year' actor Sahil Anand has been roped in to play Nivedita's gold digger husband. The role was earlier played by Manish Goel.

Another role that has piqued the viewers' interest is that of Mr. Bajaj, which was originally played by ace actor Ronit Roy. While, nothing is confirmed as of yet, speculations are rife that it's Barun Sobti who will be seen essaying the part. 

Shubhaavi Choksey, last seen in Bollywood blockbuster 'Dhadak' will be playing the prime vamp i.e. Anurag's mother in the show while Uday Tikekar will essay the role of Anurag's father. Kannu Gill and Deepak Qazir played Mohini and Moloy Basu in the original version.

'Half Marriage' actor Kanupriya Pandit and acclaimed film and television artist Kali Prasad Mukherjee will be seen playing Prerna's (Erica) parents in the show.
