For each and every person in the world, their mom is the best! Rudyard Kipling once said, "God could not be everywhere, and therefore he made mothers." The word 'mother' has its own magic and it's also something which makes emotional instantly. It's usually observed that mothers stir up the family and they embrace it as a whole with love. A mother's heart's sole intention is to see her children happy.
Not only the mothers around us but also in the fiction world, we have got to see every kind of mothers. In shows aired in the US, the character of mothers is seen either as a chilled out one, strict, badass and more. There are some mothers, whose relationship with their onscreen children have taught us a lot about life.

Beverly Hofstadter on The Big Bang Theory is Leonard Hofstadter's mother. She is seen as a neuroscientist, an award-winning psychiatrist, and an author. Beverly has always been a critical mother, who wanted Leonard to be an achiever like his siblings. She is no-filter and has been unabashed about her opinions, be it about his love life or career. Though Leonard has craved for motherly love, but shown in the latest episode, he made peace with it and finally forgave his mom for being who she is. It was one of the most emotional moments ever witnessed on The Big Bang Theory which airs on Zee Cafe.
2. Allison Janney as Bonnie Plunkett on MOM

Bonnie Plunkett on MOM is seen as a mother who had a bad history which involved alcohol and drugs. However, she decides to sober down and make her relationship better with daughter Christy. Though she felt neglected as a child, Christy then develops a supportive relationship with Bonnie as she tries her level best to be a good mom.
3. Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister on Game of Thrones

Cersei Lannister of Game of Thrones is considered as one of the most hated characters ever. Throughout the eight seasons, we have seen her as a mother, who will go to any limits to protect her children. She has been living for her children which she has proved time and again. During the whole course of the show, Cersei lost her three children which shattered her at every step. Now, it's shown that Cersei is pregnant again on GoT airing on Star World and she will leave no stone unturned in protecting her this child.
4. Christina Pickles as Judy Geller on FRIENDS

Judy Geller is seen as the mother of Ross and Monica on FRIENDS. She has been seen as a biased mom as she favours Ross at many instances and criticises Monica the whole time. This led Monica to prove her mother wrong as she turned out to be an organised person and even becomes the head chef at a restaurant in New York City. Judy always felt that Monica will remain single, but when she marries Chandler, her mother is finally seen happy.
5. Julie Kavner as Marge Simpson on The Simpsons

Marge Simpson on The Simpsons is seen as a strict mother who is the force which drives the whole family. Her unique ways of disciplining her children are fun to watch. She is also a fun and loving mother who shares an amazing bond with Lisa and Maggie. They are often seen being defensive and helpful towards each other.
