Aalisha Panwar of 'Ishq Mein Marjawan' fame might be the next Komolika
Television superstar Hina Khan, who is best known for her role of Akshara in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', made headlines when she chose to reprise Urvashi Dholakia - the original Komolika's role in Ekta Kapoor's 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2'. Her look became a talking point on social media.
Hence, the rumours of her exiting the show came as a huge shocker. "It's true that I will not be seen on the show post-March. But, the only reason is my prior commitment to films," Hina had herself confirmed.
The actress had said that she is just taking a small break from television but it seems the makers of the show have already started looking for her replacements.
If latest reports are to believed then 'Ishq Mein Marjawan' actress Aalisha Panwar has been approached for Komolika's part. We hear, Krystle D'Souza and Anita Hassanandani are also in contention for the role.

Speaking about Aalisha's casting, a source informed TellyChakkar, "There are several faces which have been approached. Ishq Mein Marjawan fame Aalisha Panwar is one of them and she seems to be an appropriate choice out of the selected ones."

Alisha is currently seen in the romantic thriller 'Ishq Mein Marjawan'. Earlier she portrayed both the protagonist (Aarohi) and antagonist (Tara) on the show. However, in July 2018, actress Nia Sharma was brought in to play Aarohi and Aalisha was reduced to playing just the negative character.

Latest reports suggest that Aalisha has already quit 'Ishq Mein Marjawan' since she isn't happy with the recent developments on the show. Aalisha has reportedly put down her papers and is currently serving a month's notice period.
A source close to the show told Times Of India, "Things changed after the first leap, when she(Aalisha Panwar) learnt that she would only be playing Tara. She wanted to quit the show then, but the makers convinced her to stay on. However, with the new time leap, Aalisha wasn’t too sure if her character would be prominent enough. She felt that her character, Tara, has lived its course and there is nothing more that she could offer to it. She intimated the production house of her decision to quit the show last month and is currently serving a month-long notice period."

It remains to be seen whether the makers will acknowledge the replacement on the show with a plastic surgery/accident or just introduce Aalisha as Komolika.
