The Watch has ended! One of the greatest shows on the planet, Game of Thrones has finally come to an end after eight long seasons. The show which was about the ultimate fate of the Iron Throne made the viewers witness the same. Game of Thrones season eight episode 6 was also titled 'Iron Throne' and it's not surprising. We finally got to see who ultimately survived as the show is known for its brutal killings of the several main characters.

SPOILERS BELOW!

In the episode, we saw Daenerys Targaryen becoming the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms after slaughtering the King's Landing with her only surviving kid Drogon. She has been unapologetic about it and the Unsullied hail their Queen. Apart from her army, no one else was seen happy and the episode shows Jon Snow and Tyrion Lannister expressing their disappointment to each other as well as Dany.

Yes, Dany never gets a chance to sit on the Iron Throne like the visions as she is killed to death by Jon himself. This was one of the biggest moments in the episode.

Jon Snow kills his Queen, aunt and lover Daenerys Targaryen after she massacres the whole city. But that doesn't make him the King of Westeros. As a punishment, Snow is ordered to head back to Night's Watch as that's where he actually belongs.

It was Tyrion Lannister who suggest that Bran becomes the King of Westeros and that's something the young Stark knew all along. In return, Bran makes Tyrion the Hand of the King against his own will.
