'Bigg Boss OTT' contestant Akshara Singh is one of the highest-paid actresses in Bhojpuri cinema.

Bigg Boss OTT has entered mid-week and fans are gradually getting to know all the contestants of this season. Unlike previous years, the controversial reality show premiered on Voot this time and is being hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar. After six weeks, the show will shoot to its TV version as ‘Bigg Boss 15’ and will be hosted by Salman Khan.

Let’s tell you a little about actress Akshara Singh who is a big name in the Bhojpuri film industry.

Akshara Singh is an actress who primarily works in Bhojpuri films and is one of the highest-paid actresses in Bhojpuri cinema. 

Akshara Singh made her acting debut in 2010 with the film ‘Satamev Jayate’ opposite Ravi Kishan. She went on to work in several films such as ‘Ek Wada Pran Jaaie Par Vachan Na Jaaie’, ‘A Balma Bihar Wala’ and ‘Maa Tujhe Salaam’.

Akshara Singh made her Television debut in 2015 with the show ‘Kaala Teeka’. She has also worked in shows such as ‘Porus’, ‘Service Wali Bahu’ and ‘Suryaputra Karn’.

Akshara enjoys a massive fan following of 3.3 million followers on Instagram and regularly treats her fans with photos and videos of herself.

Before entering the ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ house, Akshara in an interview with indianexpress.com said through the show she will take a stand for and bring spotlight on the Bhojpuri film industry. “I want the world to know that Bhojpuri industry is not just about lehenga choli. There are educated people in the industry too, who come from good families. Also, I will take a stand against the mistreatment we face as we come from smaller towns,” she said.
