Pavitra Punia is making headlines after a hotelier, Sumit Maheswari, claimed that he is still married to the 'Bigg Boss 14' participant, who got evicted from the show last Sunday, during 'Weekend Ka Vaar' with Salman Khan.
While Pavitra has never acknowledged or confirmed the reports, she has on several occasions mentioned that she had been engaged, without revealing the person's name, on the Bigg Boss show.
During her conversations with Punjabi singer Shehzad, who was also a participant in the show, and also while speaking with television actor Kavita Kaushik, Pavitra had in the course of the show spoken about her engagement and also mentioned that she misses her ex-fiance.
For the uninitiated, Pavitra made her debut with MTV Splitsvilla 3 back in 2009. She has been a part of several TV shows including Love u Zindagi, Sawaare Sabke Sapne Preeto, Honge Judaa Naa Hum, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Kavach... Kaali Shaktiyon Se, Gangaa, Sasural Simar Ka, Kaleerein, Roop - Mard Ka Naya Swaroop, Naagin 3 to name a few.

1. Sumit Maheshwari claims he is married to Pavitra Punia

After Pavitra Punia's eviction from the 'Bigg Boss 14' house, in a video interview with Fifafooz, hotelier Sumita Maheshwari claimed that he is still married to the television star and that his family is upset on her closeness with Eijaz Khan on the show. In his interview, Sumit also mentioned that Pavitra had cheated on him four times but he had forgiven her and the two had decided to start afresh after the actor's stint on the controversial reality show. However, he also added that now their relationship had reached a point where it could not be amended, and stated she could have an affair with Eijaz after their divorce.

Pavitra Punia and Sumit Maheshwari reportedly got engaged in 2015. As per a report in Bollywood Life which quoted TellyBuzz Pavitra had opened up on her engagement with Sumit. She had said, "Yes, I am engaged to Sumit. I had met him in Amby Valley through a common friend, where I had gone for Reiki. I absolutely loved the place and fell in love with him there.”
However, as of now, there has been absolutely no confirmation or denial from Pavitra on Sumit's claim that they are married.
3. Pavitra Punia's affair with Paras Chabra, latter's revelation about her marriage

Pavitra Punia's love affair with Paras Chhabra is out in the open. The two have gone on record to confirm that they were dating. Recently, before entering the "big Boss 14' house, Pavitra had gone on record to say that, “Paras Chhabra is the ex-boyfriend of Pavitra Punia, not the other way round." She had also said that he was the biggest mistake of her life.
Reacting to this Paras that told ETimes, "Pavitra has rightly said that Paras was her mistake because a married woman can’t be dating and fooling me. It was alarming to know this when her husband messaged me and said you both could be with each other as much as you want but only after my divorce with her."He further said, "I confronted her and she agreed, then I got to know one after other shocking revelations about her. I don't want to open my mouth right now. I could be explosive right now, but time will tell and it will show during her stint in BB. If I open my mouth things can go against her and it won't be good. She hid about her marriage from me."
4. Pavitra Punia's affair with Pratik Sahejpal

On 'Bigg Boss 14', Pavitra Punia had herself confessed to having dated two meant at the same time. While in conversation with Nishant Singh Malkhani, Sara Gurpal and Rahul Vaidya in the garden area of the house Pavitra made this revelation. This episode when aired, became the talk of the town as netizens pointed out that Pavitra could have been dating Paras Chhabra and Pratik Sahejpal at the same time.
An actor and model, while Pavitra was in the 'Bigg Boss' house, Pratik Sahejpal had in an interview to The Times of India opened up about his relationship with Pavitra which he said was good till it lasted but besieged with clashes. He also added that Pavitra was too obsessive about him and also aggressive in nature.
"Look, I am not denying that I am aggressive. But Pavitra too is. I think when two such aggressive people meet, there's going to be an explosion. I remember she threw and broke a few things in her house- flower vase, table- when we quarrelled once (towards the closing stages) at her house. To give vent to my frustration, I went down and punched the wall; my hand started bleeding," Pratik said.
Pavitra and Pratik's relationship lasted for less than a year.
5. Pavitra Punia's link-up with Eijaz Khan

Those watching the current season of the controversial reality show 'Bigg Boss' must be aware of Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia's bond. The two have admitted to having an 'attachment' and have gone on record to say they have feelings for each other. While the two fought a lot, they also 'hugged' it out. And this has been pointed out by a lot of other contestants in the house including Nikki Tamboli. Pavitra and Eijaz came close to each other over that course of the show. WHile Pavitra was evicted on Sunday, Eijaz is still in the race for the title this year.
