A talented TV star, Divya has done several shows including 'Udaan', 'Jeet Gayi Toh Piyaa Morre' and 'Vish' amongst others.
According to reports, television actor Divya Bhatnagar, best known for her role of Gulabo - the maid in hit daily soap 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' is currently critical.
As per reports, she had tested positive for coronavirus, is admitted at Mumbai's SRV Hospital in Goregaon and is on the ventilator
If one goes through Divya's Instagram Story, one will be able to see a post shared by her in which the actor can be seen lying on a hospital bed while smiling through the oxygen mask. It seems like a screenshot taken while Divya was on a video call with someone.
The caption in the story read, "Hi my Instagram family. Pray for my speedy recovery. I love you all."
REflecting on Divya's current health condition, in an exclusive interview to ETimes, Divya's mother Mrs Bhatnagar said, "Divya had a temperature since the last six days. She was feeling very uneasy. I came down from Delhi and got an oximeter home. We checked her oxygen levels, they had dropped to 71. She is on a ventilator now, her oxygen level is about 84, and her condition is critical. The reports have just come and she has tested positive for COVID."
Speaking about Divya's husband Gagan, her mother told the publication, "Whatever anyone may tell you, the time has come to spill the truth. Her husband was a fraud. He has left her and is not bothered to even come forward for a while. She married without informing us. I am aghast that post marriage, she has been living in a very small place in Oshiwara. She was living in a big house at Mira Road earlier. She has undergone a lot in the recent past."
According to ETimes TV, Shashi-Sumeet Productions under whose banner Divya is doing the show 'Tera Yaar Hoon Main' has come forward to help the actor financially. Mrs Bhatnagar confirmed the news to the publication and said, "Yes, my son is talking to Shashi-Sumeet. They have volunteered."
