Saif Ali Khan about to enter 'Tandav' mode; first look of web series out

Saif Ali Khan's much-awaited series titled Tandav is finally announced. The show created by Ali Abbas Zafar is set to be an Amazon Prime Original, and the makers have unveiled the actor's first look. In the show, Saif will be seen playing the role of a Delhi-based politician and the teaser for the same will be out on Thursday that is, December 17, 2020. However, in the poster, the actor has hidden his face.

Saif is seen showing his raised fist to a huge crowd wearing a white shirt and waistcoat. He is donning a stubbled look and short hairdo. Amazon Prime Video took to their Instagram page and shared the first look with a caption stating, "Get ready, we are about to enter Tandav mode. #TandavOnPrime, teaser out tomorrow @aliabbaszafar @ihimanshumehra @offsideent."

Tandav also stars Dimple Kapadia, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Sunil Grover, Kritika Kamra, Sarah Jane Dias, Gauahar Khan and others in pivotal roles.

Earlier, while talking about the show, Saif had stated, "It is a show based on politics and is set on a massive scale. I don’t want to use American examples, but it’s along the lines of House Of Cards, although set within the framework of Indian politics. The plot takes into account various factions like Dalit politics and UP cops and the whole nexus between them." 

Talking about his character, Saif had said, "My character is Chanakya-like, in the guise of a youth leader who comes from a privileged background and aspires to become the Prime Minister."
