It was back in 1995 when Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Sanjay Kapoor united on the big screen for the film Raja. The actors gave an iconic song 'Akhiyaan Milaoon Kabhi' among other tracks which are still loved by many. A couple of years later, they reunited for the film Mohabbat co-starring Akshaye Khanna. Now after two decades, Madhuri and Sanjay are set to be sharing the screen space for the forthcoming Netflix original series backed by Karan Johar's Dharmatic.

Confirming the same, Sanjay dished out the filming details to Mid Day. He stated, "I have been shooting in Nashik since October 25 and will wrap up my portion by the first week of December. The show has an interesting premise. The year 2020 has been upsetting, but I have always been a positive person and I am happy to be back on the set."

Tentatively titled Actress, the show is suspense drama having Madhuri in the titular role.

Meanwhile, talking about how the coronavirus pandemic affected the shoot, Sanjay shared with the tabloid, "Shooting for this show has been a strange experience because everybody is in masks and PPE suits. After a while, you get used to it. We have a great production team that monitors our temperature and oxygen level daily. We were tested for COVID before we began shooting."

Sanjay had already made his digital debut and was last seen in Voot Select series titled The Gone Game co-starring Shweta Tripathi, Arjun Mathur and Shriya Pilgaonkar.
