According to media reports, Shaheer and Ruchikaa plan to have a traditional wedding ceremony sometime in June next year.
One of the most loved actors on Indian television, Shaheer Sheikh broke a thousand hearts when he announced his engagement with Ruchikaa Kapoor, Creative Producer and Executive Vice President at Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures Ltd, on Instagram on November 24.
Subsequently, on November 27, the duo had a court marriage after reportedly dating over over two years. The marriage was attended by Shaheer's 'Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke' on-screen mom Supriya Pilgaonkar.
The two jetted off to Jammu, the actor's hometown where they had an intimate ceremony in the presence of family members. Earlier, the duo also had a low-key ceremony at Ruchikaa's residence in Mumbai.
And now, almost after two weeks of having tied the knot, Shaheer has shared a photo with his wife Ruchikaa on his verified Instagram handle, enjoying the picturesque locations in Jammu.
The newlyweds, who seem deeply in love as they sit next to each other in the photo with Ruchikaa resting her head on Shaheer's shoulders, are seen twinning in olive green jackets paired with denim.
Shaheer also gave a beautiful caption to this photo. He wrote, "Thoda sabz, thoda aasmaan aur teri muskurahat.. #ikigai (sic)."

Meanwhile, according to a report in the Bombay Times, Shaheer and Ruchikaa plan to have a traditional wedding ceremony sometime in June next year.
In an interview with Bombay Times, Shaheer had opened up on his love saga with Ruchikaa by saying, "Ruchikaa is honest when it comes to her feelings. The best part about our relationship is that we are friends first. Being an actor, I have to pretend in front of the camera all the time, but I have found a partner with whom I get to be myself. I’ve always said that I’m a ‘wanderer’ and I’ve finally found the right companion. I am looking forward to my never-ending travels with her”.
On the work front, Shaheer was last seen in 'Yeh Rishte Hain Pyaar Ke'.
