'Difficult to perform': Ankita Lokhande to pay tribute to 'Pavitra Rishta' co-star SSR at award ceremony

Film and television star Ankita Lokhande often takes to her Instagram handle to give her fans a glimpse from her day to day life. In fact, Ankita often took to social media to lend support to the family of her late boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput, who was found dead in his Bandra apartment in June this year. 

And now, on Saturday, with a heavy heart, Anikta took to her verified Instagram account to share a short video clip rehearsing dance steps for her performance at the upcoming Zee Rishte Awards 2020, wherein she'll be seen paying tribute to late Sushant Singh Rajput. 

Dancing to Neha Kakkar-Sunny Kaushal's latest hit track 'Taaron Ke Shehar', Ankita can be seen perfecting her steps to give a fitting tribute to the 'Dil Bechara' actor. 

She even recalled their Pavitra Rishta days when the two had given several performances together during award shows. 

She captioned the clip, "This time it’s very different and difficult to perform. From me to u it’s painful !!!! #sushantsinghrajput #manavarchana #ankitalokhande zeerishteawards2020 #tribute #pavitrarishta (sic)."

Earlier, many fans of the late actor alleged that Ankita has moved on in life and is no longer interested in justice for Sushant.

Ankita recently shared a happy video of herself on Instagram featuring her boyfriend Vicky Jain where the couple can be seen dancing to the song 'Bang Bang'. They were twinning in white 'nightdresses' and matched steps for most of the video.

Ankita shared the video of her and Vicky Jain on her Instagram account. "Vikki and anky #reelsinstagram #reels #ankitalokhande #vikkianky #dance #nightdresses," shared the 'Manikarnika' actress alongside the video.

While some fans left heart emojis in the comments section, others targeted her. One wrote: "Bhul gaye ho aap sushant sir ko (you have forgotten Sushant)." Another wrote, "Aap sushant sir ko yad nahi karte ho (you don`t remember Sushant)."

Ankita doesn't seem to be affected by the negative comments as she has been sharing more happy photos of her on Instagram.

Still, one commented, "Tum roz pix upload karo, Hum roz tumko sushant ki yaad dilayenge #shame (you upload new photos every day, and we will remind you of Sushant every day)."

Ankita captioned her latest pic, "I may not be perfect but I'm always me."

Prior to this, Ankita had penned a mushy post for her beau Vicky Jain. Apart from praising him for his qualities, she had a note of apology, too.

"I can't find the words to describe my feelings for you. One thing which comes in my mind when I see us together is I`m grateful to god for sending u in my life as a friend, partner and as soul mate. Thank you for being someone who was always there for me. Thanks for making all my problems as yours and helping me whenever I needed you.Thank you for being my support system. Most importantly, thank you for understanding me and my situations," Ankita wrote.

"And I am sorry because of me you have to face criticism which you don't deserve at all. Words fall short but this bond is amazing. I love you,", she added.

Vicky was trolled a while back during the investigation into actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. Ankita had dated Sushant for a long time, after meeting on the set of the hit serial, 'Pavitra Rishta'.
