On Tuesday, in a wild card entry on the controversial reality show 'Bigg Boss 14' hosted by Salman Khan, BJP member and Tik Tok influencer Sonali Phogat entered the house.

Popularly called as a 'Dabang Jaat Leader' in Haryana, Sonali is the National Vice President of BJP's Mahila Morcha. In the world of showbiz, she has appeared in Punjabi and Haryanvi music videos and has acted in the TV show Amma: Ek Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma.
As Sonali entered the show, she looked a little nervous initially. Concerned housemates tried to calm her down as Abhinav and Jasmin avered that within a few hours she'll start feeling comfortable int he house and all will be alright. To this, a confident Sonali, in her trademark 'dabang' style responded by saying 'apne dekha nahi na mujhe bahar abhi'.
Meanwhile, in a statement, on her entry in the show, Sonali Phogat said, "Bigg Boss 14 is such a hit show with such good audience, I really find it entertaining. There are some really good people in the house and it would be fun to compete with them. I am happy to get this chance now as I already have a fan base all over and they would really enjoy my presence on this show.”
Earlier, in an interview to IANS, Sonali said, "I have been a big fan of Bigg Boss for long. The scale of the show is huge. I know so many people who watch it religiously. How can I refuse this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity?"
"I have watched almost all the episodes of this season. Now that I am a participant, it feels surreal. I am excited and nervous at the same time. I don't know how my journey will unfold, but I promise the viewers a lot of entertainment and positivity," she added about the show hosted by Salman Khan.
For the unversed, Sonali started her television career as a Hindi anchor on Doordarshan Haryana 8 years ago and then she got a chance in Zee TV’s famous serial Amma where she played the role of Nawab Shah's wife. This serial was based on the India-Pakistan partition.
Sonali has worked in movie 'P se Pyaar F se Farar' with Jimmy Shergill and has also shown her talent in many Haryanvi music videos and short film 'Motherhood' that had garnered immense love from viewers.
Sonali was also the star campaigner for BJP in Delhi Vidhan sabha elections in 2013, wherein she campaigned in the old city of Chandni Chowk.
Her association with the political party BJP since last 12 years gave her an opportunity to join the mainstream politics where she was given the charge of National Vice President of the Women’s front in Haryana. She has taken charge of the tribal wing of the Women’s Front in Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi.
Meanwhile, talking about Bigg Boss 14, Vikas Gupta who was ousted from the reality show made a comeback recently. Currently, the contestants are seen giving each other a tough fight in the captaincy task. During the 'Weekend Ka Vaar' episode, Salman Khan had replaced Aly Goni as the captain and declared Rubina Dilaik will rule the house.
