When we speak of out-of-the-box tasks, heated exchanges, confrontations, strong opinions, nominations, wild card entries and evictions, the one show that crosses our mind is 'Bigg Boss'.

And keeping up with the image that the show has created for itself over these years, the interesting line-up of contestants in this season of the controversial reality show 'Bigg Boss 14', are leaving no stone unturned in making waves on the small screen.

However, not every contestant gets the chance to entertain the audience from inside the house for a very long time.

According to the format of the show, each week a contestant is outed or one can say 'evicted' and the one who manages to stay till the end, lifts the trophy.

Last week, we saw Shehzad Deol, whose eviction was decided on the basis of votes by his co-contestants, walkout from the 'Bigg Boss' house'. Soon after his eviction, we at DNA spoke with the Shehzad, who opened up about his 'unfair' eviction, short-lived stint in the 'Bigg Boss 14' house, his equation with Eijaz Khan and the weakest contestants according to him who are still part of in the house.

'Bigg Boss' journey and "unfair" elimination

"It was a short and unexpected journey,"  said Shehzad Deol to DNA on being asked about his experience in the house.

Opening up about his "unfair" elimination, Shehzad said, "The format of Bigg Boss every season was that contestants were eliminated on the basis of public voting. However, this year it was a different scene altogether. First two weeks public voting didn’t happen which is still acceptable to a point because we understand that it’s difficult for the audience to fully know who to eliminate and who not to, given not much time had passed. But, when the nominated contestants were given a chance to save themselves, I wasn’t even allowed to do that. If you are not giving the public the chance to save me, you should at least give me the chance to save myself. It was very disappointing because I didn’t have the chance to fight for myself nor did the public have the chance to fight for me. It definitely is unfair."

Adding that had the audiences got the opportunity to vote for him, he would not have been evicted so soon.  "The kind of feedback, response and messages I have received after coming out of the Bigg Boss house, I can see people were in my favour. And the people who are still inside the house, I can see they stand nowhere compared to the love and adulation people have for me. I can guarantee if today the audience is asked to vote, I will be inside the house," Shehzad told DNA.

Bond with Sara

On being asked if he felt lonely after Sara Gurpal's elimination, whom he shared a good rapport with on the show, Shehzad said, "I was pushed to a corner once Sara (Gurpal) was out. I was bonding well with her, she was a good friend to me. After she left, it took me some time to get back into the groove. But, all of that never affected my game in any way."

Equation with Eijaz Khan

"He is a nice person. I considered him a big brother to me and when he said I was like a younger brother to him, I respected that and took it at face value which was my mistake, because that could have been his strategy. But, he is not someone I would trust in the game. I have no clue how he is in the outside world, but inside, one cannot trust him. And had I been there for a little longer, I would have made sure that I make this point very clear to everyone with proof," Shehzad said about Eijaz Khan, whom he was seen having heated confrontations with several times on the show.

Seniors ka 'tadka'

On being asked what he thought about the twist of adding seniors on the 'Bigg Boss 14' show this season and whether or not he believed they were fair in the game, Shehzad told DNA, "It's a game and the makers decide what is to be done with each season. So, the addition of seniors wasn't an issue at all."

He added, "The seniors were absolutely fair when they were inside the house. And even if someone was supporting a particular person, that senior was very vocal about it and they had their own reasons for it which they would voice at the given time. Not one among three seniors who were in the house ever said something and did something totally different. They stuck to whatever they said. They never gave anyone undue favour and
 they weren’t biased."

Weakest contestants

Revealing who according to him are the weakest contestants in the house, Shehzad said that Jaan (Kumar Sanu) and Rahul (Vaidya), were the weakest players in this game. He added that as far as Nishant is concerned, the television actor is good at strength-based tasks, but doesn’t use his brain much otherwise.

Wild card entry

Lastly, on being asked if he would like to go inside the 'Bigg Boss' house again as a wild card entry, Shehzad told DNA in an exclusive chat, "Definitely. I would want to go not because of any person inside the house but for the audiences outside who like and support me. I want them to see me and decide for themselves how long they want me inside the house."
