Up until now, flying commercial drones in the skies of the United States, was a strict no-no. Not anymore.

Intel, with permission from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of course, gotten exactly a hundred unmanned aerial vehicles to the sky. What came of it, was as gargantuan as it was beautiful.

Each of these drones was fitted with light and flown under the supervision of Intel CEO Brian Krzanich in meticulous synchronisation.

The goal is to fly these drones in beautiful formations not just over empty fields, but over stadiums full of people, with numbers of drones going up from a hundred to a thousand.

This video is as mesmerising as it sounds and some more. Check it out!
