Girl sends message to dad at the International Space Station, with the help of Hyundai.
Stephanie, thirteen years of age, with the help of Hyundai, 11 Genesis sedan and some creativity, has managed to send a message to her father.
Why did it take all this effort? Stephanie's father happens to have an unusual profession - he is an astronaut and stays at the International Space Station most of the time.
As a part of their "A Message to Space" campaign, the company took on the task of putting 11 Genesis sedans with specially studded tyres on the vast desert floor of the Delamar Dry Lake in Nevada and traced the message : "Steph <3s you".
When asked how her dad would react, she said, "He would probably just grab his camera and take a picture. He would be totally caught off-guard if he saw a message, and it might make him miss us even more.”
For the message to be visible from space, it had to be as big as the Central Park of New York. It was also recorded as the largest tyre track image on the "Guinness Book of World Records".
