YouTube Go is officially rolling out to 130 countries across the world. The company launched this app last year in April and rolled out the service in November in India.

The company stated in a blog post, “We're excited to expand YouTube Go to over 130 countries around the globe starting today. YouTube Go gives access to YouTube regardless of connectivity status and more control over data usage, while being locally and socially relevant.”

Google has also brought in some changes to the YouTube Go app, in an attempt to make it more user-friendly. The YouTube Go home screen now features trending and popular videos in your area, so that you users can find and discover videos easily. Additionally, you can also share videos with friends and family nearby without using any data.

The  company added, “We've been working hard to build a YouTube app that works for you, with brand new features designed with your preferences, aspirations and needs in mind. We can't wait to see what you can do with the power of YouTube in the palm of your hand.”

Since the launch of YouTube Go in India, the company has launched the service in 14 additional countries, including Indonesia, Nigeria and Thailand.
