Chinese-based tech company Xiaomi has announced that it expects to launch its Mi Box and Mi TV in India by the end of 2015.Xiaomi India head Manu Jain had said back in January that the products would come to India by the end of the year, and the company seems to be holding up to that promise. While the official launch may be some time away, Xiaomi is currently looking at content providers for the Mi Box, which plugs into your TV to make it a smart TV, simiar to Google's Chromecast. There is apparently a delay in the production of the Mi TVs so Jain has said the Mi Box will be the first product launched.Boosted by their success in the smartphone industry Xiaomi also has other investments, including power banks, air purifiers and a fitness band. Xiaomi is also looking to set u pan e-commerce portal in India, with investments from the company into warehouses and logistics, though no number was specified.
