Xiaomi has announced that their Redmi Note 3 smartphone will be available in an open sale in India on April  27.

The company confirmed  the open sale on Twitter today saying, “More Redmi Note 3 stocked, no registrations required for next sale! Get it 27 April, at 2pm." Since the tweet links to the Mi.com website, we can assume the sale is only on the company website and not across e-commerce portals. 

The Redmi Note 3 is available in two hardware variants; one with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage for Rs 9,999, and the other with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage for Rs 11,999. The Redmi Note 3 packs a 1.8GHz hexa-core Snapdragon 650 processor, a 5.5-inch full HD (1920x1080), runs MIUI 7 on Android Lollipop, and supports dual 4G SIMs.
