New reports suggest that the upcoming Xiaoi Mi 5 will be running a new Helio X20 processor. A leaked benchmark test, first covered by XiaomiToday shows the phone's rating well into the 70k range on AnTuTu.Original rumours suggested that the Mi 5 would be running a Snapdragon 810 processor, which has however been reported to have problems with excessive heat discharge. And while the Snapdragon 820 is due out next year, the Mi 5 is more likely to roll out by the November 2015, thus suggesting that the Helio X20 is behind the 73075 AnTuTu score. It rates the phone miles ahead of some of the fastest smartphones today. The Helio X20 is 10-core processor, with two Cortex-A72, two Cortex-A57, and eight Cortex-A53 cores.Aside from that, the Xiaomi Mi 5 is rumoured to have 4GB RAM, a 5.3" QHD display, 16MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, a fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C, and will have 16GB and 64GB internal storage variants. Here's to llooking forward to a specced out flagship from Xiaomi to shake up the market once again.
