While the plot is simple, the execution and delivery of the story is impeccable. The emotional opening is unlike anything I have seen in a while and had me drawn in completely.

The game is visually stunning and features hand-painted artwork and carefully crafted character animation.

Personally, I felt like the game had a lot of meaning and it shows at the very beginning of the game when Ori loses his caretaker and it felt as if they were trying to imply that now that little bunny has to do all of these crazy things on his own and it can be very much related to life and how we basically, live our lives letting go of the old and welcoming the new.

I love the fact that they've made it serious enough to not be a children's game and fun enough that it takes you back to a time where you felt happy about little things.

Honestly, when I first started playing the game, I did not think it would be as much fun but as the beautiful animation, remarkable atmosphere, elevating music and enjoyable gameplay and the little white character I was playing as just took me away, I completely lost track of how much I was enjoying playing.

The save system in this game is also very well designed,it allows you to save wherever you want, but saving costs a finite resource,so you have to think about when you save. The storytelling is interweaves with the gameplay in a way that makes the game seem like a work of art.

Overall, this game has achieved near-excellence: even though it's nothing absolutely new it is easily one of the best games around.
