WhatsApp is always looking to introduce new features for its users to maintain freshness in the app and make it more engaging. Now, in a piece of good news, the messaging app is likely to introduce a new and much-awaited feature that will allow senders to hear their voice notes before sending them forward.

According to how the voice note feature operates now, as soon as the user finishes recording their message, the recording is directly sent. However, if the new feature is rolled out by WhatsApp then users will be able to hear their messages before sending and make changes to them if necessary.

In addition to this, WhatsApp has also introduced a waveform when senders record his/her voice note. The company has launched a new feature for the beta version of the Android and iOS app.

According to Wabetainfo, WhatsApp will first launch these 2 features for Android and iOS beta testers. It was also reported that the sender will be able to pause their recording and continue it as they please.

Wabetainfo reported, "WhatsApp has rolled out two features. The first one shows real-time voice waveforms and the possibility to stop recording the voice message. The second feature is about the ability to listen to the recorded voice message before sending it."

This new development that users have been waiting for a long time came after the Facebook-owned app launched a new feature that enables the user to change the speed of the voice notes they send on WhatsApp.
