The 23-year-old college student at Southern Illinois University says he mostly used scrap metal and broken electronics to build the Laser Bazooka.

Anthony says his obsession with laser began at the 12-years-old when he used to rip lasers apart so that he could see how they worked.

The DIY Laser Guy started posting YouTube videos of his lasers in 2006. Currently, his YouTube channel has more than 80 million views and over 2,70,000 followers.

The laser uses a lithium polymer batteries to create several laser beams which combine to create one powerful beam with the help of a focusing lens.

In the video, Anthony uses his Laser Bazooka to shoot through a computer case, titanium infused gunpowder, a block of wood, a cardboard box and more.
