Wildfires that generally occur in hot and dry climates pose a great risk to life and infrastructure at different times of the year, mostly throughout the hotter months of summer and spring. The United States alone is prone to between 60,000 and 80,000 wildfires that each year that sets alight almost 3 million to 10 million acres of land making it unsuitable for any productive activity.
