A video posted on TechRax called ‘Secret Hack To Get Headphone Jack on the iPhone 7’. The description reads, “This video is for those who don't want to get $159 wireless AirPods or have to insert your headphones into an adapter every time you listen to music.”

However, this video is only a joke. It merely mocks Apple after it released the new-generation iPhone with wireless headphones instead of a headphone jack.

Sadly, people over the Internet have taken this prank, seriously. The video has been 8 million times, at the time of writing. Comments show angry YouTubers drilling holes into their iPhones, rendering it useless.

Some users have commented, “I just did this to my new IPhone 7 and I ruined it how did he do it different” and “I've just done this but there is no sound coming from the headphones”. Another user stated, “A friend of mine told me it worked for him, but my iPhone won’t turn on after I drilled the hole for the jack. I checked and it was the 3.5mm drill, so I made no mistake there! What happened? Any of you have the same problem?”

If iPhone users do want to listen to music, they are to use the wireless AirPods and NOT drill a hole into it!
