Want to send a message to yourself on WhatsApp? Here's a step-by-step guide

This feature allows you to chat with anybody on WhatsApp without having to save their number on your phone

There have been many instances where we have wanted to forward important messages or photos to ourselves on WhatsApp to keep a record of things but have been unable to do so for so long. But now, you can send yourself texts, media messages, important documents all on WhatsApp with its 'Click to Chat' feature. 

This feature allows you to chat with anybody on WhatsApp without having to save their number on your phone. You can now use this feature to message yourself on your own number that is associated with WhatsApp. Just remember, no matter what number you want to send information on, that has to be an active number on WhatsApp.

Here's how you message yourself on WhatsApp: 

- Open WhatsApp on your device and make sure that the numbers are active on the app and there is a proper internet connection. 

- Copy and paste this address on your address bar: 'wa.me//' and add your WhatsApp number after that. You might also require to add your country code otherwise the app may consider the number invalid. 

For Example: Type 'wa.me//91XXXXXXXXXX'

- Once you type your phone number, you will be redirected to a WhatsApp page. on the page, you will be able to see your number on the top of the chat bar and a box that will read 'Continue to Chat'. You can click on it.

- Once all this is done, WhatsApp will show all your chats in the window where you will be able to see your number as well.
