Undercover Colours nail polish changes colour when it comes into contact with date rape drugs like Rohypnol, Xanax and GHB, CNET reported.

On their Facebook page, Undercover Colours posted that their goal is to invent technologies that empower women to protect themselves from the heinous and quietly pervasive crime, and with their nail polish, any woman will be empowered to discreetly ensure her safety by simply stirring her drink with her finger.

While the nail polish is still in it's experimental stage, the team has already raised $100,000 dollars for product development and is still on the look out for additional investors.

Undercover Colours hopes to be the "first fashion company empowering women to prevent sexual assault."
