The Android version of Truecaller gets a new update that adds a new ‘Call Me Back’ (CMB)  feature. Included in the 7.82 version of the caller ID and call blocking app, the feature will show the call maker if the receiver is busy, unreachable or if the call has been rejected.

To access the feature, the caller, as well as the receiver, must have the Truecaller application installed on their Android smartphone. The feature will not work if the receiver is not ‘last seen’ in the past 24 hours. CMB comes in handy when a call receiver cannot answer a call.

If a call is unanswered, the caller will receive a pop-up notification prompting the user to options: Ask to call back and Call Anyway. If a user chooses ‘Ask to call back’, then a pop-up notification will appear for the receiver requesting them to return the phone call while choosing Call Anyway, will let the call maker continue with the phone call attempt.
