First announced at MWC 2016 in February, the smartphone has been unveiled in India today. The budget smartphone comes with a 5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels and a pixel density of 441ppi (pixels per inch).

The device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 (with an integrated Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 and quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53) with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM and runs on Android OS 5.1 (Lollipop).

The device has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera for selfies. The smartphone will also have 16GB of storage (expandable up to 32GB via a microSD).

Powered by Removable 2750mAh battery, the device comes in three colour options: Silver, Grey and Gold. 

The Lenovo K5 Plus is priced at Rs 8,499 and will be sold exclusively on Flipkart starting March 23rd at 12pm
