Over the last few days, we’ve learned a lot about the new OnePlus 6T including the fact that it will have an in-display fingerprint sensor and no headphone jack and will probably be priced far more reasonably than the upcoming iPhone range.

Now a new leak had claimed that the phone won’t be – as promised by some – having three cameras at the back. Several bloggers had claimed that the phone would have three cameras at the back, but the rumour has been put to rest thanks to new pictures obtained by WinFuture’s Roland Quandt.

Sharing the pictures, BGR.com reported that there’s no triple-lens camera on this device Pervious reports had suggested that the phone will get a 3D shooter a la Oppo R17.

The image also reveals that there’s no rear-facing fingerprint sensor under the camera module, which is where it is positioned in the OnePlus 6. This gives weight to the rumour that the phone will come with an optical fingerprint reader right on the display.

The phone is likely to be unveiled on 17th October and should be available in India around that time.

As things stand it will have a 6.41-inch OLED screen with 2340x1080 resolution and 19:5:9 aspect ratio. The hardware should remain the same as the OnePlus 6.

The phone has already made a brief appearance on Amazon.in, and the launch will most probably be an Amazon exclusive.
