Sony introduced the Xperia XA Ultra in India today at a price of Rs 29,990. The device will be available in all Sony Center and major electronic stores across India starting July 27. It will be offered in White, Graphite Black and Lime Gold color variants.

Customers will also get free content worth over Rs 2,000 with applications like Sony LIV which will offer free 3 months subscription worth Rs 299. Hungama Play will offer free 3 months subscription worth Rs 750 while the Kindle will offer free e-books worth Rs, 1,000.

In terms of specifications, the smartphone sports a 6-inch Full HD IPS display with a 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 64 bit 2GHz Octa core MT6755 Helio P10 Processor paired with 3GB RAM. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the device includes an internal storage of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 200GB via microSD card.

The Xperia XA Ultra comes equipped with a 21.5MP rear camera with dual LED flash along with a 16MP front facing camera. Additional features include an Exmor RS sensor, HDR photo mode, hybrid autofocus and auto scene recognition. Connectivity features include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG and USB. A 2700mAh battery completes the package. Sony states that the Xperia XA Ultra, bundled with the Quick Charger UCH- 12 will offer 5.5 hours battery life in just 10 minutes.
