The new options include a wreath of poppies, "Lest We Forget" italicized text and a coin paddle -- used for the gambling game "two-up" which is only legal in Australia on Anzac Day. The game involves betting on heads and tails and was a popular pastime the Australian military, known as "diggers" during the First World War.

Snapchat has also created a live story -- a compilation of images that produce a narrative, or slideshow effect -- that users are encouraged to add to throughout the day.
