According to The Next Web, the Mojis basically serves like GIF but they are very short videos created exclusively for the service from popular content. The users can Moji by using an option that appears in the emoticon menu within Skype. It is divided into categories for individual TV shows and movies right now. Each Moji can link directly back to the source, so the users will not be wondering where it came from.

When the users send a Moji to others, it is shown next to a link to the episode or movie it is pulled from, along with the copyright information for the show. Skype says it has partnered with Universal Studios, Disney Muppets, BBC and other studios to bring high-quality clips to the messaging service at launch and more to be added in the future.

The new version is available on Windows, Mac, Android and iOS devices.
