Samsung plans to have an initial production of only five millions Galaxy S7 smartphones, as reported by the South Korea’s Electronic Times on Monday, citing unnamed sources.

One of the top brands in the smartphone industry, Samsung Electronics Inc is apparently planning to launch two different versions of the Galaxy S7. There will be a 5.2-inch screen version as well as a 5.5-inch curved-screen version that will be called the ‘Galaxy S7 edge’.

The South Korean multinational conglomerate company plans to have an initial production of about 3.3 million of the 5.2-inch flat-screen version and about 1.6 million of the 5.5-inch curved-screen version. Reports also say that the range of smartphones will launch sometimes in February 2016.

A Samsung Electronics spokeswoman declined to comment on the report.
