The new mid-range Android phone from Samsung makes it debut during the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale.
Samsung has outed their latest mid-range phone from the Galaxy series, the On8. Priced at a reasonable Rs 14,900, this phone packs features that make for a compelling device.
It is available in a single storage option of 16GB (but can be expanded by 128GB via microSD card,) and features a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display, Samsung’s own octa core S5E7580 (Exynos 7580) 1.6 GHz processor, 3GB of RAM, a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP front camera. All of this is powered by a 3,300mAH battery, which should easily see the phone through a full day of operation.
The camera features numerous modes such as Animated Photo, Anti-fog, Auto, Beauty Face, Continuous Shot, HDR (High Dynamic Range), Interval Shot, Night, Panorama, Pro, and Sports. On the video front it is capable of recording at resolution of 1920x1080 at 30fps.
The phone runs Android Marshmallow 6.0, and has a brushed metal and diamond cut finish to appeal to the style conscious, available in their Gold color trim. Besides this dual-SIM smartphone the package also contains a pair of earphones apart from the regular inclusions like the quick start guide and phone charger..
On specification and price, this phone goes up against devices such as the Honor 6, Moto G Plus (4th Gen), Panasonic Eluga Note, Lenovo Vibe K5 Note etc.
