A few premium smartphones from Sony’s Xperia lineup is receiving a permanent price cut in India. The Xperia XZ1, which was previously priced at Rs 44,990, receives a price cut of Rs 10,000 and is now available for Rs 34,990. On the other hand, the Xperia XZ Premium which was previously priced at Rs 49,990 receives a price cut of Rs 10,000 and is now available for Rs 39,990.

The Xperia XZ1 comes with a metal unibody design, Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, Sony's Motion Eye camera and Sony's new 3D creator feature that allows users to create 3D scans of objects.
Design wise, Xperia XZ1 is made out of metal with glass on the front. The smartphone has a 5.2-inch FullHD display with Gorilla Glass 5 on top for protection against nicks and scratches. It comes with HDR support, 138% sRGB coverage and a few Sony proprietary technologies like TRLIMUNIOUS and X-Reality unit. The product comes with Autofocus burst. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with X16 LTE.
On the other hand, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium features a 5.5-inch 4K IPS LCD display with a 3840x2160 pixel resolution. It sports Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM. Running Android Nougat, the device includes an internal storage of 64GB which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
It comes equipped with a 19MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash along with a 13MP front-facing camera. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C (3.1) and a 3.5mm audio jack. A 3230mAh battery completes the package.
