Panasonic today launched the Eluga Turbo phone--a 5-inch LTE-capable phone powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz Octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM.

The phone’s screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, with Asahi Dragontail glass protecting the back of the phone making it especially resilient to scratches and bumps. Its 32GB of internal memory can be upgraded by another 32GB using the integrated MicroSD card slot.

Camera duty is provided by a 13MP unit at the rear capable of shooting 1080p video at 30fps, and a 5MP front camera. Running their own FitHome user interface atop Android 5.1 Lollipop, the phone has a 6.95mm profile and integrates a 2,350mAh battery. The phone will be available in three color options including Marine Blue, Champagne Gold and Rose Gold.

The Eluga Turbo will be available exclusively on Snapdeal priced at Rs 10,999 with online pre-registrations currently underway, and will be going on sale starting 27 Jan.
