Prime Minister Narendra Modi is reportedly scheduled to visit Apple CEO in San Francisco during his visit to United States.

According to reports, Apple is planning to invest in building manufacturing capacities in India which will ultimately provide a boost for Modi's 'Make in India' project. 

Apple's sales of i-Phones in India increased by 93% in the third quarter which was faster than the growth in markets in Greater China which stood at 87%. Apple uses manufacturing facilities of Foxconn which has recently promised to invest around $5 billion in a manufacturing facility in Maharashtra. 

Modi is scheduled to meet other Indian American entrepreneurs from the Silicon Valley during his visit too.  The Prime Minister will be on a visit to Ireland and the US from September 23 to 29 during which he will address the UN General Assembly and also visit Google headquarters in the Silicon Valley. He will address a community reception by Indian-Americans in Silicon Valley on September 27.
