Microsoft has announced that it is scaling back the number of people it allows into the Xbox One Preview Program now as it is near-capacity. Xbox One's Preview Program, which allows the users to test new features and functionality before they are released publicly.

According to the Engadget, the company needs to optimize its pre-release user base for testing. This is the first time that Microsoft will overhaul the Xbox One interface, rolling in features like backwards compatibility for Xbox 360 games and the Cortana voice assistant.

Earlier, Microsoft said that when Windows 10 comes to Xbox One, Preview Program members will get to try it first.
