Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has reportedly called Google a "privatized version of the NSA" because it collects and stores hordes of information about people.
According to the Sky News, Assange explained that the internet giant was not doing anything illegal but added that its behavior was questionable.
He contended that the company was collecting as much information as possible and was storing it, indexing it and using it to create profiles of people and then selling it to advertisers and others. The whistleblower added that those were the same procedures that are followed by security agencies.
The 43-year-old has sought refuge in the Ecuadorian embassy for the past two years and faces arrest and extradition to Sweden if he steps out.
