The app seems to be crashing every 2-3 minutes. Many have also reported trouble in sending Direct Messages (DM) to friends and others
Netizens seem to be struggling since morning scrolling through the social media app, Instagram since the app is down. Users on Twitter and Facebook have been complaining that they are not being able to use the app.
The app seems to be crashing every 2-3 minutes and isn't uploading any posts or loading any content on its timeline. Many have also reported trouble in sending Direct Messages (DM) to friends and others.
As of now, there has been no statement from the company and its makers. The only message the users of the app are receiving while scrolling through the app is, "We are sorry, but something went wrong. Please try again." Let's not forget that Instagram is also a means for some influencers to earn money. When these apps are down it affects their content and income.
As of now, there is no clear reason as to why the app is down but according to Downdetector, a downtime tracking site, many are unable to use Instagram and are experiencing difficulties in uploading stories, reels, etc. As per reports, approximately 47 per cent of Instagram users are not able to use the app up to its full capacity and 27 per cent are also facing issues using the app's web version. The rest of the 26 per cent are facing issues with their server connections.
As per Downdetector, the error began around 10:35 am as per Indian Standard Time (IST) and the issue hasn’t been resolved yet.
While Instagram was down, it did not discourage netizens. The internet broke into a meme fest and put out some of the funniest memes ever.

This is certainly not the first time Instagram has faced issues. There have been several occasions in the past and the problem was fixed.
