Noida-based domestic handset maker Ringing Bells today will announce India's cheapest smartphone called 'Freedom 251'.

The smartphone will be launched by Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar at Nehru Park here.

The smartphone would be available for order via freedom251.com starting from February 18 at Rs. 251.

The smartphone comes equipped with a 3.2MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front facing snapper for clicking selfies. Its connectivity attributes include 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and packs a 1,450 mAh battery.

"The launch was in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for empowering India to the last person, transforming India's growth story", the Noida-based company had said earlier.
