Huawei to launch Honor 8 in India on October 12
The company has sent out invites for a New Delhi launch event next week.
Huawei has sent out invites for an event on October 12 where it will launch the Honor 8 smartphone in India. Pricing and availability details will be announced during the event. It will be available in black, blue and white colour variants.
In terms of specifications, the device features a 5.2-inch display with a 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. It is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 950 processor, paired with 3GB/4GB RAM. It is offered in two internal storage variants namely 32GB/ 64GB. It can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 on top, it comes equipped with a dual rear 12MP camera with auto-focus and dual-LED flash. It includes an 8MP front facing camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and NFC. A 3000mAh battery completes the package.
