Serial tipster Evan Blass shared a tweet about the next upcoming flagship of Huawei. The device is expected to be unveiled in Munich on November 3. By the looks of these images, it suggests that Huawei will add two new members to the Mate 9 family, i.e. Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro. The smartphones will come out in two display variants - one with regular and the other with dual edge curved display.

The Mate 9 will sport a 5.6 inch Full HD screen staying intact with the traditional 3.5 mm headphone jack. On the other hand, the Mate 9 Pro, dubbed as the flagship, will sport a 5.9 - inch QHD dual edge curved screen. It will ditch the 3.5mm jack in favour of using the USB Type-C port for charging and connecting earphones. Furthermore, the rumour mill also states both the smartphones will be powered by all-new Kirin 960 SoC with an octa-core processor with two memory variants. One of the variants will come with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, whilst the other one will feature a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Similarly, like the P9, the camera lens will be integrated with Leica camera. Lastly, the devices are said to support Google’s Daydream VR platform as well.
