With a successful new under its belt and more planned for the near future, it was only a matter of time before merchandising caught up with the hype.Propel, a company that’s known for making remote controlled toys, is now launching four official Star Wars drones, with models faithfully depicting their source vehicles in the movies.Launching later this year, you can get your hands on the mounted speeder bike, Tie-Fighter, X-Wing and, of course, the inimitable Millennium Falcon. The drones will be priced between US $200 to $300, but it’s not yet clear yet exactly when they will be made available. The accompanying video doesn’t speak volumes of durability, they look like decently modelled plastic pieces mounted on mini quadcopters. However, they do look pretty fast, thanks to their size, topping out at about 56kph. But the best part is the simple addition of coloured lasers on the toys so you can have more realistic space dogfights; colour coordinated obviously. So if you’re looking for a cool birthday present, or (more likely) just want to snag one of these babies for yourself, check out the official website here
